Series of work made for my post-graduate diploma 2007.

Inspired by my move from rural Scotland to the industrial West Midlands. I looked at the starkness of the architecture around me, and how it was made colourful and cheerful by the graffiti placed upon it.  I saw the connection between the urban lifestyle and the arid wastelands of a dessert, so my shapes were inspired by Cacti and succulent plants.
